Son of May and Amelia Inge of 90, Fairfield Road (Holberry, Hatherly Road, 1911). Native of Canterbury, Kent. He came from Southern Rhodesia to enlist. Enlisted at Herne Bay, Kent in October 1916 and served in France. Transferred from the Royal West Surrey Regiment. Killed in Action 3 September 1918 at Eterpigny. Buried at Eterpigny British Cemetery, Pas de Calais, France (GR A 5.). Memorials at St Matthew's and St Paul’s.
